Chewing more gum can actually be good for us.

For years, chewing gum has been used for enjoyment and pleasure. Recent research has proven that it can enhance productivity by increasing attention and reducing cognitive errors in the workplace.

Researchers discovered in four separate experiments that gum chewing can increase alertness, raise attention and focus, improve your well-being and performance in the workplace, and cause enhancement in cortisol levels. The researchers also noted that, how hard a person chews the gum or its gum flavor does not have any effect at all on the healthy benefits of gum chewing.

This information was truly fascinating to me, especially since I enjoy chewing gum on a regular basis. I now encourage you all to chew more gum because it has been proven to reduce anxiety, stress levels, depression, and help make you into the overall well-functioning human being that you’re meant to be.
